Valiant Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning is run by David Lewins, a sole trader based in Houghton-le-Spring, Tyne and Wear. This page explains what happens to your details when you get in touch.

What we collect and why

When you call, WhatsApp or email, we receive whatever you send, usually your name, phone number, address or area, and photos of the job. We use it to quote, book and carry out the work, and to contact you about it. We don't sell it, share it with marketers, or use it for anything else.

How long we keep it

Messages and job details are kept for as long as needed to do the work and for our own records (invoices, guarantees), then deleted. You can ask us to delete your details at any time by emailing hello@purevaliant.co.uk.

This website

This site doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across other websites. We use a privacy-focused, self-hosted analytics tool (Umami) that counts visits and which pages are popular without identifying you or storing personal data. Tapping a phone, WhatsApp or email link is counted so we know what's useful. Nothing about you is recorded.

Links to Facebook and WhatsApp take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how it's used. Email hello@purevaliant.co.uk or call 07380 979570. If you're not happy with how we've handled something you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
