Pet accidents, spilled wine, ink, make-up, mud, smoke. Most stains and smells come out when they are treated properly and at the source. We carry professional spotting chemistry for exactly this, on carpets, rugs, sofas and mattresses.
The supermarket products usually make things worse: they set the stain, leave a sticky residue that attracts more dirt, and only mask smells for a day or two. Professional stain removal identifies what the mark actually is and uses the right chemistry to break it down. Odours, especially pet urine, are treated where they sit, in the backing and underlay, not just sprayed over.
Stain treatment is normally done as part of a carpet or upholstery clean, but we'll come out for a single problem too. The purple ink on the grey sofa arm below is a good example of what's possible when it's dealt with properly.

Questions we get asked
Can you get pet urine smell out of carpet?
In most cases, yes. The key is treating the underlay and backing where the smell actually lives, not just the surface. Very long-standing contamination can sometimes mean the underlay needs replacing. We'll tell you honestly after a look.
How much does stain removal cost?
Single stains are quoted from a photo and the £50 minimum visit charge applies. As part of a room or suite clean they're usually included. WhatsApp a picture to 07380 979570 for a straight answer.
Should I try to clean it myself first?
Blot with a clean dry cloth and leave it. Don't rub, don't use supermarket sprays, and don't add heat. Those are the three things that set a stain permanently.
Are the chemicals safe for kids and pets?
Yes. Professional products are used at the correct dilution and fully rinsed out, so once the carpet or sofa is dry it's safe for everyone in the house.
